Our Divine Mission
At PowerHouse Worship Center, our foundation is built upon the teachings of Jesus Christ, as outlined in Luke 4:18-19. We are anointed to follow in His footsteps, fulfilling His mission of bringing hope, healing, and restoration to the world.
Our purpose is rooted in six guiding principles: evangelizing the gospel to the poor, healing the brokenhearted, preaching liberty to the captive, opening eyes both physically and spiritually, delivering those burdened by life’s hardships, and proclaiming the acceptable year of the Lord. These principles shape everything we do, from serving our community with compassion to inspiring individuals to discover their God-given purpose and potential.
Through the power of Christ, we are committed to transforming lives, breaking the chains of sin, and offering the freedom and restoration found in Him. At PowerHouse Worship Center, we are not just a church—we are a movement, reclaiming God’s kingdom and spreading His love to all who seek it.
Our Story
Powerhouse Worship Center began in Eugene in 2001 with a clear calling, to teach the Word of God faithfully and create a place where people can grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Over the past 25 years, that foundation has remained the same. What began as a step of faith continues today with the same focus, creating a consistent place where the Word is taught, faith is strengthened, and people can return week after week to be grounded in truth. Through different seasons, that commitment has not shifted.
From the beginning, the focus has not been on hype or performance, but on truth. Teaching the gospel, walking in the principles of Luke 4:18–19, and creating a space where people can come as they are, learn, and grow in their faith. Powerhouse exists to be a place rooted in the Word, where people are encouraged, strengthened, and equipped through biblical teaching and a consistent commitment to Christ.
